Today, it seems like people are quick to cry "hate speech" at the drop of an opinion. It's like we've all become detectives, searching for the slightest hint of disagreement to yell, "Aha! Hate speech!" It's gotten so ridiculous that I half expect to hear, "I don't like your taste in pizza toppings—hate speech!" We've have to remember that not every difference of opinion qualifies as hate speech. Let's keep the dialogue open and the accusations on mute—unless it's about pineapple on pizza, of course...that is hate on pizza speech.
